Money and Fame in GBA
Mr. Chan Sing, CEO of Biden Consulting Co., Limited and Mr. Kevin On, General Manager (HK) of The Hoffman Agency shared the tips on fundraising and marketing channels in the GBA. Their presentations helped Hong Kong start-ups to step in GBA cities and be prepared to get the first pot of gold for their business development and boosting their brand awareness.

GBA Startup Hacks
Mr. Andy Yip, Super Connecter from GungHo Space, Mr. Alex Lee, Project Consultant of GungHo Space, and Mr. Jonathan Lee, Co-founder of KeyPoints Exchange shared the must-know hacks of starting a business in GBA, such as business benefits, office renting, sponsorships and resources and human resources advice, to get the teams better prepared before stepping into GBA.

Next Stop: Flag in GBA
Mr. Wiva Wei and Mr. Raymond Chau, two young entrepreneurs in GBA shared their experiences, challenges and tips for starting business in GBA. The webinar aims to inspire start-up teams throughout the sharing and discussion.

One to One Consultant about GBA
Teams were going to have the final decision of GBA office location with our GBA’s entrepreneurship bases by 31st August, 2021. To understand more about the features and support of the GBA entrepreneurship bases, “MAKE a DASH” invited the representatives of SZRI and GungHo Space to conduct consultation with our teams individually. The consultation were divided into 2 sessions, one hour per session.

Press Conference
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) received dedicated funding from the Funding Scheme for Youth Entrepreneurship in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (the Scheme) under the Youth Development Fund, taking a step further its entrepreneurial support to local youngsters.
At a press conference marking the inauguration of the Scheme today (26 February), Professor Sham Mai Har, CUHK Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Vice President and Choh-Ming Li Professor of Biomedical Sciences, received a certificate from the Chief Executive Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor in recognition of the University’s commitment to fostering youth entrepreneurship across and beyond the campus.
