Our Mission

Established in 1963, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has attracted numerous talented and enthusiastic researchers to deliver world-class research, cutting-edge technologies, and paradigm-shifting ideas. CUHK has also been sought by numerous research institutes, government offices, companies, and organizations for collaboration.

As a key role facilitating this collaboration, The Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS) at CUHK supports researchers, students and industries with a wide range of services, and promotes knowledge development and transfer that create impactful solutions to meet society’s needs.
