Note:
1. The theme of 2022 ASPIRE nomination is “Innovation To Achieve Economic, Environmental, And Social Goals”.
2. Nominees should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in scientific research and cooperation with scientists from other APEC member economies, including includive and interdisciplinary collaborations, in subjects such as: biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics, mathematics, economics, social sciences and other relevant fields.
3. Nominees should be citizens of APEC member economy and be under the age of 40 as of 31 December 2022.
4. As an institutional quota of 1 has been set, internal selection will be conducted if the number of applications received exceeds the quota. In this connection, kindly note that application materials should reach Grants Team by the internal deadline.Late applications will not be accepted.
5. The nomination will be submitted to the Innovation and Technology Commission for its final decision on the candidate to represent Hong Kong for the 2022 ASPIRE.
6. Applicants please read the Nomination Note and submit the following to <
(a) Completed nomination form;
(b) Nominee's CV;
(c) One letter of recommendation;
(d) Photo of the nominee (image must be larger than 250*300 pixels); and
(e) Supporting document(s) for the age and citizenship requirements.
*An acknowledgement email will be sent to applicants upon receipt of application materials.
By email to Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC). ITC will make the final decision on one candidate to represent Hong Kong for the Prize.
