ORKTS is thrilled to launch the Translating Research into Real-World Impact: Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) Learning Series. This programme connects research, teaching, and community engagement to the world’s most urgent social and environmental challenges, empowering CUHK members with practical tools to measure and manage project impact. By exploring IMM and key frameworks such as the UNDP Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Impact Standards, participants will enhance their proficiency, elevate impact evidence for Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) submissions, and foster sustainable social impact.

Building on the foundations from the IMM Introductory Webinar and Taster Class, the Managing for Impact: IMM in Practice Workshop Series will equip you with advanced skills to transform your project or venture into a high-impact, outcomes-driven initiative. Designed for both project leaders and team members, the workshops guide you through the 12 Enterprise Actions of the UN SDG Impact Standards using scenario-based learning from research spin-outs, social enterprises, and cross-disciplinary collaborations. You will develop an impact thesis, create tailored metrics, and map decision pathways to scale your ideas into measurable, real-world outcomes. By the series’ end, you will have a draft IMM roadmap to enhance funding proposals and strengthen venture plans, maximising societal value.
