ORKTS is thrilled to launch the Translating Research into Real-World Impact: Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) Learning Series. This programme connects research, teaching, and community engagement to the world’s most urgent social and environmental challenges, empowering CUHK members with practical tools to measure and manage project impact. By exploring IMM and key frameworks such as the UNDP Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Impact Standards, participants will enhance their proficiency, elevate impact evidence for Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) submissions, and foster sustainable social impact.
Following the IMM introductory webinar, the IMM Essentials: Taster Class will be held to offer a deep dive into the core concepts of IMM. Through concise case studies and bite-sized hands-on exercises, participants will unpack the Five Dimensions of the IMM Framework and master “Enterprise Actions” to drive credible, measurable outcomes. Participants will gain practical tools to enhance research projects, labs, or start-ups, fortify RAE impact cases with robust metrics, and develop skills to align research with global challenges, thereby strengthening funding prospects. This dynamic session empowers CUHK members to drive sustainable, high-impact results across their work.
