Event Highlight | Hong Kong International Medical Device Regulatory Forum (28 May 2025)
The first Hong Kong International Medical Device Regulatory Forum was co-organised by the Department of Health, HKSAR and the Faculty of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and was successfully organised on 28 May 2025 at the Charles K. Kao Auditorium, Hong Kong Science Park. The half-day forum — titled “Navigating the Future of Innovation and AI in Medical Device Regulation”— featured keynote speeches and panel discussions by regulators, industry pioneers and scholars from Hong Kong, the Mainland, and abroad. The forum brought together over 200 representatives in audience, and exchanged insights on regulatory trends, challenges and co-ordination strategies, as well as breakthroughs in the medical sector due to accelerating development of AI technologies.
