Event Highlight | China International Import Expo (5-10 November, 2023)

ORKTS 

The 6th China International Import Expo, organised by the Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, is the world’s first import-themed national-level exhibition. This year, over 3,400 enterprises from 128 countries and regions participated, including more than 280 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry-leading enterprises, and attracted nearly 400,000 visitors.

During the 6-day Expo, the Hong Kong Services Pavilion led by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) aims at bringing HK companies across various sectors, including healthcare industry, to tap the vast business opportunities in the Mainland China.

This year, the CUHK participated in this event to introduce the newly established InnoPorts at Beijing and Shanghai, and explore potential areas of collaboration with various stakeholders.
