The first training workshop of Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge 2023-24 was held at TriAngle, Hong Kong Baptist University on 11 November (Saturday).

HKSEC had prepared an intensive social innovation workshop that covered a variety of topics, including the development of empathy-building skills, inclusive solution design, problem framing, customer segmentation, and value proposition design. Over 60 participants attended the training workshop this year to equip themselves for starting up their own social enterprises. Challengers were also given the opportunity to have conversations with invited guests specialized in various trades during the Human Library session.

Challengers had learned relevant skills and tips during the workshop to refine their plans for the first-round document submission, which will be due by mid-November. The result of the First Round will be announced in early December.
