“Unlock the Life & Health Sciences Potential through Innovation” Summit, organized by Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), was held at Conrad Hotel on 13 October 2023.
In the wake of Covid-19, there is an increased focus on the importance of Life & Health Sciences. Hong Kong, as an international Innovation and Technology (I&T) hub, is instrumental in developing this sector to build a better future. Today, Hong Kong has become Asia’s largest biotech funding raising hub and is one of the most efficient cities offering top-tier healthcare services at affordable costs. Hong Kong provides a dynamic and data-centric healthcare system, excellence academic achievements, robust infrastructures to support R&D and clinical trials, and funding access from both government and private sectors to accelerate downstream commercialization.
The summit attracted more than 150 online and offline participants, bringing together industry leaders, investors, research and medical professionals, financial specialists and professional service providers to share their insights and expertise. The summit facilitated networking, created business opportunities and illuminated the advantages of Hong Kong's L&HS industry in research, investment and finance.
