Last week, we hosted the CUEA Happy Hour (Round 6) followed by a mixer party that drew in CUHK alumni, students, staff and other like-minded individuals who are keen to explore the business opportunities in Hong Kong, Greater Bay Area and beyond. The participants enjoyed the experience filled with connections and ideas, ending the happy hour (Round 6) with success.

We are honored to have Dr. Xu Ke, (CEO, LaSene Technology Limited), Mr. Ahsun Loong (Investment Director, QF Capital) and Mr. Pele Xiong, (Investment Director, China Prosperity Capital) and Dr. Victor Lau (Head, Venture Acceleration, ORKTS, CUHK) to exchange the insights on sustainability in the business landscape, share the lessons learnt in the blue and red oceans along the venture journey.

Dr. Victor Lau highlighted and advised, “Don’t let your first failure stop you. Knowledge is always the asset base which would give you lots of potential in future. There is no magic in doing business.” Dr. Xu Ke shared, “People can’t succeed alone, however, they will grow through collaboration. Empowering the team is the important skill an entrepreneur and future leader must have to outperform rivals and open up a new market place.
