Event Highlight | HKSEC 2022-23 Inauguration Ceremony

The Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC) held an inauguration ceremony on 17 September (Saturday) at InnoCentre to kick off the HKSEC 2022-23.

The ceremony was well attended by government official from the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, representative from the United Nations Development Programme, key partners and supporting organisations. The event was also broadcasted live for public to attend online.

The theme of HKSEC this year is “SDGs in Action”. HKSEC has therefore collaborated with the this year’s thematic partner, the CUHK Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Office (SRSDO), and commissioned the CUHK Centre for Communication and Public Opinion (CCPOS) to conduct a survey on youth’s opinion towards SDGs. The survey result was announced at the ceremony. A panel discussion featuring experts and HKSEC alumni was also hosted at the ceremony with an aim to raise awareness of different applications of SDGs among young entrepreneurs.

The enrolment for HKSEC 2022-23 is open from 1 September to 20 October this year and we look forward to receiving applications from challengers.
