Astra Optics Limited is a spin-off company from the Chinese University of Hong Kong that will commercialize ground-breaking 3D nanofabrication technology, i.e., femtosecond projection two-photon lithography (FP-TPL), that was internationally recognized in 2019 by the Science Magazine. FP-TPL is the only truly scalable nano-printing solution that simultaneously demonstrates record-setting resolution, 1000 times higher throughput, and substantially reduced printing cost (90% lower), compared with existing state-of-the-art solutions. Our revolutionary product will enable industrial scale applications of TPL for the first time and generate impact in different industries such as nanotechnology, biotechnology, healthcare, renewable energy, and electronics.
