Photocatalytic coatings can be designed for surface self-cleaning, removal of air and water contaminants. In the long history of coating technology, photocatalytic coating is a relatively new member and there is plenty of room for improvement. One of the factors limiting the applications of photocatalytic coating is the low ffectiveness of teh device in light harvesting. Hence, we wuld like to develop novel approaches to photo- activate the photocatalytic coating more efficiently.Previously, we developed a self-sanitising door handle based on photocatalytic coaing and back-light technologies. The innovation successfully attracted interests and inquiries from different companies and investors. Consider teh hugh potential of teh door handle as well as other product forms based on these technologies, we would like to commercialize these products for profit and for teh benefit of society.
